Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during a trip to Thialand. Hotel was excellant and staff all extremely friendly. Standard of rooms was high and everything was very clean. The pool area was also very nice if a little small , but more than adequate for a quick dip after an exhausting day in Bangkok. The only slight negative point, and it is very slight, would be it´s location. None of the main areas were within walking distance and given the traffic in Bangkok, although they are only between 3-5km away, this could take anything between 15-45 minutes in a taxi, having said that our dearest taxi cost no more than 70-80 bahts. All in all a great hotel.

I stayed at the amari atrium for 3nights and i thought it was a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything. I didnt use the gym or swimming pool but they looked more than efficient. My sister had a thai massage in the hotel and said it was excellent, and it wasnt too expensive. We were very pleased with the meals, they had a large variety and we enjoyed it. The rooms were nice and clean and we had a nice view. The only negative thing i found was you had to get a taxi to the main shopping malls and markets but if you bartered, you could get a good price. I would stay at this hotel again, and therefore i would definitely recommened this hotel.

A fantastic hotel that provides lovely accommodation with excellent service - extremely impressed. All of the staff were very helpful throughout our stay, and nothing was too much trouble. I was particularly impressed with the concierge service - they were very welcoming and courteous at all times.
The breakfast was also impressive - a large variety of Western and Asian dishes were on offer, and the staff were very efficient. The free wireless broadband connection in the lobby area is a thoughtful and extremely useful amenity. Rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The hotel has a nice rooftop pool as well.
Note that whilst the hotel is within walking distance (around 7-10 minutes) of the nearest MRT station (Phetchaburi), the route is extremely busy and polluted for most of the day, often making it a slightly unpleasant walk. However taxis are of course plentiful and affordable in Bangkok, so that wasn´t an issue.

We stayed at the Amari Atrium for 3 nights during our 6 day trip to Thailand. The hotel looked impressive from outside. The impression remained during the whole period of my stay. The staff everywhere, from housekeeping, room service, front office & even the Buffet Restaurant was so friendly. There was one very nice girl at the Buffet restaurant who took good care of my daughter and kept chatting with her. Even the rooms had a great view! Ours looked out into a skyline of tall towers and quite close to the hotel, I saw one of the quaintest little cottage houses. The room looked exactly as seen in all photos, although I feel it woudl have looked even better if it had a bowl of fruit or a couple of orchids in a vase. The food is excellent. Altogether a very nice hotel will definitely stay there when I visit Bangkok again.

Stayed here 3 nights May . This hotel is great value for money, large lobby, friendly staff (you´ll get lots of wai´s) and my room was reasonably large with a great view. Didn´t use the pool so can´t comment on that. Breakfast buffet was varied and extensive. A bit out of the central part of the city but taxis are readily available and extremely inexpensive though it can take some time to get through the notorious Bangkok traffic. Trying to cross the street in this town can be an adventure. Alternately, the subway is a ten minute walk and easy to use and that, along with the BTS Skytrain, is really the best way to get around town. Mona Lisa is a five minute walk for those who might be interested.

Excellent view from a window which measured at least 8ft by 12ft. Rooms were spacious and well equiped and offered a great view of the skyline. A good quality hotel with excellent facilities and a small but pretty pool which opens till 10pm. Great resturaunts, offering steaks, burgers, Italian fayre but didn´t see many Thai dishes on the menu. A courtesy bus takes you into the city centre which is about a 15-minute drive away. Its a little further out but the price and value for money is attractive. I would stay at this hotel again.

Loved this Hotel! Travelled with husband and 11 year old daughter - the room was ideally sized with a ´proper´ extra bed instead of the fold down put-you-up kind usually supplied for kids. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent - a huge variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The swimming pool is smallish but very safe, with an excellent bar service. The complimentary shuttle bus to key places was useful given that the hotel isn´t central, although taxis were very cheap for getting about and the location therefore isn´t an issue (traffic was an issue however, but I guess many cities have a similar problem!). Would definitely reccommend this hotel - especially as it made families welcome too.

I stayed here for 3 nights last September. I wasn´t expecting too much, as it was just somewhere to stay before our main hotel in Phuket a few days later but i was very impressed by it. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival, the room and bathroom were huge with ceiling to floor windows which offered a great view over the city. I especially liked the bar and restaurant, which was open till late at night. We checked it out after we came back from a night out and ordered some food and a couple of shots which after youve drank them, you get to throw at a wall in the bar and smash them! The buffet breakfast had a good selection of food and catered for everyone tastes. When we arrived we were offered a Thai guide, who was very good and picked us up each morning with our driver to show us around the sites including the temples, floating market and places which were slightly off the beaten track. One thing i would recommend is going to a thai kick boxing match which we did one night, it might not be to everyones tastes but it was an experience and had a real atmosphere of thai culture. I wouldn´t hestitate to stay here if i visited bangkok again - it was ideal hotel for exploring the city.

Just got back from Bangkok and found the Amari Atrium one of the best hotels i have stayed at , upgraded to a suite on arrival and was impressed with all the thai staff who were pleasent and extremly helpful. The Bangkok traffic is a nightmare so you have to have a bit of patience. I could not find a single negative comment to write about this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights, out of BKK for a couple of days, and then rebooked for 3 nights. On both occasions got upgraded from De-Luxe to ???? (whatever, it was really nice). Whilst the hotel and facilities are of a very high standard (for the $$ range) ...what really makes the place are the staff! Very professional and thorough but with charm and helpfulness! OK, the location may not suit everybody but since it´s only about 5 + mins walk to the subway, not really a problem Would certainly recommend the Amari Atrium!

Bankkok has a lot of fantastic luxury hotels, and they are priced accordingly. Whilst the Amari Atrium is not up to the "Conrad / Ritz Carlton / Dusitani" standards it is excellent. The location is a little out of town, and if you need to travel the taxi rides, whilst inexpensive, are time consuming in Bangkok traffic.
The Spa on the outside of the hotel overlooking the city is fabulous, as is the quality of the food served for breakfast.
In short a great hotel, offering unrivalled value for money, only slightly let down because of its "out of centre" location.

Well it was my second stay at the Amari Atrium after a 2 year gap and it was an improvement on the first (which was also great) in almost every aspect. Although the location is less convenient than a downtown hotel, it is only a 5minute walk from the subway and one stop from the major Sukhumvit Road--Asok (skytrain) station. The hotel also offers a morning and afternoon shuttle service to downtown hotspots and to the weekend market. The reception has been painted since my last visit though it was spotless then and remains so now. The staff are very helpful and polite, all facilities are in place and fully functioning. The room was on the 11th floor, well furnished, spacious, bright and clean. One of the beds was quite uncomfortable and this was immediately replaced for us. It is a quiet hotel and unassuming in its location. If you are prepared to walk a little to the subway or catch a taxi then you are well advised to consider this slightly off-the-beaten-path hotel. It´s part of a local chain and highly regarded. Breakfast was included and the buffet selection was always sufficient, tasty and varied, well stocked and never crowded. The pool and gym are also up to standard and the jacuzzi a must see. I didn´t order room service though the selection was quite appetizing and reasonably priced. All in all I would certainly choose the Amari Atrium again. The price advantage over other centrally located Amari hotels was somewhat balanced by the location but even so, it´s a holiday and a little adventure riding the subway for a station or two is all part of the fun. Thailand is changing rapidly and internationalization is the best part. No matter what age traveler you are I would say the hotel caters to your every need and responds to your every concern swiftly and sincerely. I will definately be back as soon as I can.
